I have heard so many people tell me that they are quitting church, or walking away from Jesus because everything is not going the way they expected it to.
HELLO!!
You are missing the whole TRUTH! You do not praise Jesus because your life is perfect! You praise Him in the middle of the FIRE, because He is God, not because of what He does for you!
No matter what the conditions around you it should stir up your praise!
Ps. 22:3, But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Paul and Silas did this in the inner portions of the prison. They didn’t praise quietly – they praised loud enough after having their backs laid open with the torture, after being shackled, after being imprisoned. They didn’t complain after all this, THEY PRAISED!!
The Word declares that as they praised the whole prison heard them, AND THEN THE EARTHQUAKE HAPPENED AND EVERYONE IN THE JAIL HAD THEIR SHACKLES FALL OFF (Acts 16:16-40).
