WHAT IF…NOAH STOPPED WORKING ON THE ARK?

We-must-be-like-this-frog-1

1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Hebrews 11:7
By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

God was sick and tired of the rebellion and evil, He says that He will not always strive with man.
Genesis 6:14, Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

Not only build an ark, but do it this way!
450 feet long
75 feet wide
45 feet tall
That is a CRAZY request!!

So here Noah is being told, not asked.
This is where some people are stuck. God is telling us to do things for eternal purposes, and yet many refuse (tithing, praying, reading the Word, sharing the Gospel).
God does not need your opinion, He demands your obedience

It was going to take 75-100 years to build this ark
What would have happened if he said, “Skip this”, I have a life, I deserve to have fun, I’ll do it when I can find time?”
Do Christians today do this or what????
I’ll obey you Jesus as long as it works in my schedule
That’s money out of my pocket
What would have happened if Noah had given up??
This Christian stuff is not working for me
God didn’t do what I asked Him to do
This is too much!!
IT IS TOO HARD TO SERVE GOD!

Noah had to know & trust his God because for 75-100 years he CONTINUED faithfully sawing, hammering, smearing pitch, because God told him that a flood was coming, yet, what is a flood?
What if he would have given up on year 48?
What if he had given up on year 62?
What if he had said, “I’m almost 600, give me a break”
WE WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY.
Our decisions of faith and obedience effect generations to come.

NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER STOP, NEVER LOSE FAITH

He was mocked and laughed at, Noah never gave up
Luke 17:26-27 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

NOAH NEVER GAVE UP!
DON’T YOU GET LAZY, DON’T YOU GIVE UP!
BUILD YOUR FAITH, THAT IN THE DIFFICULT DAYS YOU CAN STAND.
