Tonight is the night!!
People will be getting plastered all over the planet to celebrate……ummmmmm…..
Ok, let me get this correct. THE THEME IS TO ENTER INTO THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR – DRUNK!
Come on Christian!!!
HOW MANY SOULS WILL YOU DAMN TONIGHT WITH A BEER IN YOUR HAND?
Pastor, I drink but do not get drunk. Be honest, how many of your friends will be listening to the Gospel of Jesus and how He has a great plan for their lives when you have a brew or liquor in your fist? Will they take your Jesus, life changing God serious when you are displaying the same lifestyle they are?
2 Cor. 6:17, Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
PASTOR, IT IS NOT SIN TO HAVE ONE BEER….
It might not send YOU to hell by having a beer, but how many people around you are stumbling because they are following YOU as you follow Jesus?
1 Cor. 8:9-13, But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. 10 For if others see you—with your “superior knowledge”—eating in the temple of an idol, won’t they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol? 11 So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed. 12 And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ. 13 So if what I eat causes another believer to sin, I will never eat meat again as long as I live—for I don’t want to cause another believer to stumble.
WHAT IF THEY ARE A NEW BELIEVER AND JUST CAME OUT OF ALCOHOLISM?
IS IT WORTH YOUR “FREEDOM” TO MAKE THEM STUMBLE?
Pastor, if they struggle with it they should not have come to the party…
MAYBE YOU SHOULD NOT BE GOING TO DRINKING PARTIES, OR BE HOSTING THEM EITHER ON NEW YEAR’S EVE!
Is. 5:22, Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and valiant men in mixing strong drink,
1 Cor. 5:11, But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
Prov 20:1, Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.
Eph. 5:18, And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
DON’T DESTROY YOUR TESTIMONY FOR JESUS FOR A NIGHT OF DRINKING FOOLISHNESS!
