Mind Your Own Stinking Business!

mind-your-own-business

Matthew 7:3-5, “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.

Here is an easy fact to swallow, if someone is always picking on others about the junk in their lives, they are striving to hide from their own!

It is so easy to find the faults of other’s, but when it comes time to dealing with ourselves, it is so much easier to focus on others.

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DEAL WITH OUR OWN JUNK?

When we actually start looking at ourselves, we can easily see things that are very ugly.  Maybe nobody even knows about them, maybe you have been able to hide the junk, but the truth is, it is still there!

When we allow the Holy Spirit to get in and show us our own issues, then He can start the healing, or the transition from bondage to freedom.  When we keep pointing at others stuff to keep our own from coming up, we actually keep ourselves in bondage.

TODAY, DON’T WORRY ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE’S ISSUES – YOU AND I HAVE ENOUGH OF OUR OWN TO DEAL WITH!!

If you are going to need grace someday, you better be one that gives it!!

This is a vary good reminder, as we are around so much negativity in the world!
And not to join into it.
