One Thought Away!

PROV. 23:7
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

Today we are going to share on the THOUGHTS of man, and how they enable faith to be released, or they destroy faith before God can show up on the scene for a miracle.

Thoughts are amazing – Every one of us are one thought away from success – one thought away from a cure for cancer, one thought away from a new business, one thought away from healing, one thought away from that new idea that would transform our entire lives and those surrounding us.

Don’t give me money, give me a thought from God!!

This church started with a God thought!
If you think little, you will get little!
If you think defeat, you will be defeated!
If you think poverty, you will live in poverty!
If you think in bitterness, you will live in bitterness!
If you think the Word, you will live the Word!

Did you ever think about Adam and Eve, and that in the Garden they had everything they needed, and everything they wanted?
Did you ever think that they had unrestrained ability to be in the literal, physical, presence of God without dying?

What changed all that?

Man was innocent.
Their hearts were without sin.
Their bodies were perfect with no sickness.
Their souls were whole.
They were submitted to God’s plan.
Their emotions were not out of control.
Their minds were not corrupted, and their thoughts were God-centric.

God gave one edict – do not eat of the tree in the middle of the garden or you will surely die.  This created the option for free will love, or rejection.

Then Satan came to Eve with a THOUGHT

3:1-7, Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden (Satan deposited a seed of truth, yet planted thoughts of doubt, wonder, questioning Fathers truth)’?”2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil (Again a thought of questioning God at His Word and motives).”6 So when the woman saw (thoughts change your entire landscape! Thoughts can totally change how you view life, Christ, and even yourself) that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Eyes were opened – not physical eyes – their thoughts were now corrupt, their minds were now messed up.

Everything has changed – now whose thoughts will you choose?
