We are trying to “brainwash” you.  We are trying to get you to allow the Word of God to wash your brain from the mindset of sin and carnality.  So the next time someone asks that question, you have a great answer.  “God’s Word washes my brain.”

Enjoy His Word today as He washes your mind with the Living Scriptures.
Read these verses multiple times today.

The true battle of the mind:

2Co 10:2 Now I implore [you*], that when I am present I [need] not to act boldly with the confidence with which I am considering [or, planning] to be bold against some, the ones considering us as walking about [fig., conducting ourselves] according to the flesh.
2Co 10:3 For [though] walking about [fig., conducting ourselves] in the flesh, we do not wage war [fig., struggle against evil forces] according to the flesh.
2Co 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare [are] not fleshly _but_ powerful in God for [the] tearing down of strongholds [or, fortresses],
2Co 10:5 tearing down misleading arguments and every high place [fig., arrogance] lifting itself up against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

No Condemnation:

Rom 8:1 Consequently, [there is] now no condemnation to the [ones] in Christ Jesus, [who] do not walk about [fig., conduct themselves] according to flesh, _but_ according to [the] Spirit [or, to spirit, and possibly elsewhere in 8:2-15].

Renewed Mind:

Rom 12:2 And [you* are] to stop conforming yourselves to this age, _but_ [are] to continue being transformed by the renewal of your* mind, in order for you* to be proving what [is] the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Forgetting your past:

Phi 3:12 Not that I already obtained or have already been perfected, but I press forward, if also I shall lay hold of [that] for which I also was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.
Phi 3:13 Brothers [and sisters], I do not consider myself to have laid hold, but forgetting indeed one [thing], the [things] behind, but reaching out to the [things] ahead.
Phi 3:14 I press forward toward [the] goal, for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus.

How to think:

Phi 4:6 Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.
Phi 4:7 Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel.
Phi 4:8 Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don’t ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.
