How to Pray for Sick People to be HEALED! Pt. 2

We learned yesterday in the Word that the laying on of hands is the beginning of learning how to release the anointing of the Holy Spirit to heal the sick. That is where we begin, and, if it was good enough for Jesus to do, then it is good enough for us!

JESUS IS THE MASTER EXAMPLE OF HOW TO MOVE IN THE POWER OF GOD!

JESUS LAYED HANDS ON THE SICK AND THEY RECOVERED BECAUSE THAT IS THE HEART OF THE FATHER!

Acts 10:38,  how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

SO WE KNOW THAT JESUS LAID HANDS ON SICK PEOPLE TO RELEASE THE POWER OF GOD, BUT HOW DID HE PRAY FOR THEM?  WHAT DID HE SAY?

JESUS SPOKE TO THE ILLNESS

Many do not believe they can be used to heal the sick because they cannot pray as good as some other people.

Jesus never prayed for someone to be healed.

JESUS SPOKE TO THE SICKNESS!

The closest He came to praying for a sick person was Laz. in John 11:40-44, Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying.  And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,“Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42 And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” 43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” 44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

The reason Jesus did not need to pray to God about the sickness was that He knew the Father’s will, and the Father gave Him the authority and power to rebuke sickness and disease.  When Jesus was resurrected, He then gave us that same power of attorney to act on behalf of heaven.

Jesus spoke to the illness, cause or spirit of infirmity, and rebuked them.

The spoken word releases faith and the power.

Matt. 21:21-22, So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Jesus would speak to the illness and command it to be healed.
