Eph. 1:11-12,  It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Message)

Have you come to realize in your walk with Christ that you are not where you know you should be?

How did I get here?

What am I doing here?

Has the thought ever come to your mind that it would be easier to stay where I am with Jesus instead of moving ahead?

Will it be too difficult to get where Christ wants me to be?

Am I willing to go after all that Jesus has for me?

Joseph was given a vision (Gen 37), and then he was sold into slavery by his brothers.  What am I doing here, God gave me a vision!  He wasn’t sold once, he was sold twice!  Joseph found the key though, Gen. 39:2,  The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.  Joseph kept his eyes on His God!!

He was then lied about and thrown in prison for over 2 years.  Joseph knew he was not where he expected to be, it was not the vision that God showed him, but HE NEVER GAVE UP!  He learned to keep his eyes of God not matter what the situation and God blessed him, even in prison (Gen. 39:23,  The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority, because theLord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper.).

What is the end of the story?

He was used to interpret the dream of Pharaoh, and then raised to the second highest position of the entire country.

Never take your eyes off of Jesus!

Never give up!
