Stay Renewed, Not Bankrupt!

Are you feeling bankrupt?

Gal. 6:7-9 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Weary – weak or faint.

This is not a new tactic of the enemy when it comes to dislocating people from their destiny.  Satan will get them so busy, and then just tired, so that soldiers of the Lord actually step away from their purpose and give up.
Satan has been working this angle for a long time.

The Father knew this would be an issue so He designed something called REST.
Gen. 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Do we actually think that God Himself needed to rest or was He was setting a principle for us to understand that rest is a needed thing?
So the Father knew that mankind would need rest to be able to focus on the destiny, even Moses got tired and overwhelmed in Numbers 11:10-17.

It got intense for Jesus sometimes with people thronging Him.  I’m sure you can imagine that as He was healing people, the crowds that would come to get set free were huge.

Jesus who had given up all His heavenly power to live down here as a man showed us how to remain fresh and how not to get weary, or so tired that you step away from your destiny.

MARK 1:35-37 NKJ
35 Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.
36 And Simon and those who were with Him searched for Him.
37 When they found Him, they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.”

LUKE 5:15-16 NKJ
15 Then the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
16 So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.

23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on a mountain by Himself to pray. And when evening had come, He was alone there.

MARK 6:46 NKJ
46 And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.

What Satan does is he gets you so tired that you step away. Jesus never stepped away from MINISTRY, He stepped away to get filled up.

This is how to stay refreshed, rejuvenated, refueled for His purposes.
1. Prayer
2. The Word
3. Fellowship
