Weak Faith – Strong Faith!

Today I woke early (4 am), and just got into the Word of God.

The great news is that Jesus is up early…lol!

Romans 14:1, Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.

The Definition of weak: to be weak, feeble, to be without strength, powerless. (Strongs G770)

The Definition of faith:  conviction of the truth. (Strongs G4102)

This shows that there are definitely those who are WEAK, not as strong as others.  There is a clear reality that people can have a powerless faith in their walk with Christ.  A faith with no strength is one that is burdened with trials that can topple their relationship with Jesus.  The enemy of our souls is relentless to repossessing people that once served him and now have relationship with the real, true, loving, passion Savior.

Because we can see that our personal faith with Christ can be weak or strong, it is simple intelligence to say that I want my faith strong.  I do not want to be feeble!  I do not want to be easily overtaken.  I want to live successful in my Jesus and never turn from His love.  Sadly, most that are weak do not see themselves in that light.  They vacillate in their relationship (never read the Word, rarely pray, sparse in church attendance and participation).

The weak can be made strong, IF THEY DESIRE TO GROW!

This is a decision!  This is a choice!  We can say we desire something, but until we change what and how we do things then we are choosing to remain the same.

MOST PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO GROW IN THEIR FAITH.  They can say they do, but truthfully, if they wanted it they would make it happen.

I want to lose another 10lbs, but if I continue to eat the same, or not exercise, then I can say it all I desire, but the truth is that I really do not want to lose 10lbs.  I just like the idea that I want to lose the weight, but do not really want it.

To grow in faith we must make a choice to change our habits of life.  We must change what we are doing!

We must:

1) Read the Word daily.

2) Talk with Jesus, spend some time with Him.

3) Go to, and participate with His house.

If we do not do these simple things then we can claim all we want that we do not want weak faith, but really we are only lying to ourselves.

TODAY IS A NEW DAY TO BUILD YOUR FAITH!  TODAY IS A NEW DAY TO GET TO KNOW JESUS IN A MORE PERSONAL MANNER.

CHOOSE TO GROW TODAY!
