Spiritual Starvation pt. 2

WE CANNOT LIVE A VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE WITHOUT THE WORD OF GOD.

The Word of God is food for our spirit.

Some believers don’t seem to realize that we really do need to feed our spirit, similar to how we need to feed our physical bodies.

God’s Word generates life, creates faith, produces change, frightens the Devil, causes miracles, heals hurts, builds character, transforms circumstances, imparts joy, overcomes adversity, defeats temptation, infuses hope, releases power, cleanses our minds, brings things into being, and guarantees our future forever! We cannot live without the Word of God! You should consider it as essential to your life as food.
I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. (Psalms 119:162 NKJV)
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. (2 Peter 1:3 NLT)
For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, (Hebrews 4:12a AMP)
The word of God contains everything we need for life:  WE NEED IT LIKE THE AIR THAT WE BREATHE , LIKE THE FOOD THAT WE EAT….
Search the Bible for answers in living …..and knowing what God’s will is.
BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. (Psalm 1:1-3 AMP)
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
That is how we can THINK we have faith, but when we reach for it or we really need it, we come up weak, shaky and discouraged, because we have not hidden His Word in our heart and have not habitually meditated on, studied or executed the Word…. FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD.
Back to the %10 by hearing……SO if we are only coming to church on Sunday and never cracking the book open, we are at 10% power, 10% faith, 10% understanding, 10% victory, 10% peace, 10% joy…..do you get it????we can move that to increased faith and increased power…. by making it a habit of hearing, reading and even to all the way to 100% faith & power by memorizing and executing it!!!!
