Luke 19:10, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Riley Stephenson of Kenneth Copeland Ministries gave an example about reaching our friends for Jesus that I thought was very powerful.
An athiest made a statement to a Christian that he must be truly hated and despised if a Christian would not even be willing to try to save him from the Lake of Fire.
If we saw a person walking out into the road, and they did not see a car coming at them, what would you do? If you did nothing they would be killed. Would you say, “I don’t want them to not like me”, or “what if they do not listen? What if they reject me trying to help them?” We all know that we would at the very least yell to them, if not run to them and try to snatch them from certain death if they remained on the same track.
If we say we love our family and our friends, yet do not share Jesus with them, but allow them to enter into eternity’s torture unhindered, how much do we really hate them?
What happens if they reject you?
What happens if they laugh at you?
What happens if they mock you?
What happens if they say that they are not interested?
AT LEAST YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU DID EVERYTHING TO SNATCH THEM FROM CERTAIN DESTRUCTION!
If you and I do nothing to stop the guy from walking into the road and getting hit by the car, then we have to ask ourselves if we really love and care about people.
If you and I do nothing to stop our family and friends from walking into eternity without Jesus, and being cast into the Lake of Fire, we have to ask ourselves, do we really love and care for them?
Let’s have a paradigm shift – IT IS NOT ABOUT US! IT IS ABOUT SAVING THEM!
SHARE JESUS’ SALVATION WITH SOMEONE TODAY.
HOW DO I SHARE JESUS? We will show you tomorrow how to share your faith with family, friends, and even your enemies.
